First Champion Window Factory

1953

Founded as a small manufacturer of aluminum storm windows, storm doors, awnings and screen rooms

1975

Became an industry pioneer in vinyl replacement windows

1992

Expansion began with the opening of Champion’s first afflilate office in Lexington, KY

 

Champion Windows offices, 1995

1995

Moved into 85,000 square foot state of the art manufacturing facility

 

Champion Windows offices, Denver

1997

Opened a manufacturing facility in Denver, Colorado to serve the western U.S.

Founding member of National Sunroom Association

 

Champion Windows offices, 2000

2000

Moved into our new 502,000 sq. ft. corporate headquarters and manufacturing campus

Named the nation’s largest window, siding and patio room company by "Qualified Remodeler" magazine.

2003

Earned the Good Housekeeping Seal for our Windows and Patio Rooms

AAMA Gold Label

2004

Champion Windows qualified for the AAMA Gold Label. This means Champion windows have exceeded standards for wind and water infiltration, forced entry resistance and component performance and integrity.






Our Home Office is Awarded the 2004 Better Business Bureau Torch Award for marketplace ethics (BBB torch award logo)

2006

Introduced our ColorBond™ window allowing customers a choice in designer exterior window colors

 

Vinyl Siding Institute’s VSI Certification

2007

Implemented the Vinyl Siding Institute’s VSI Certification Program
